"MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME!"  

Hope you had a great weekend !  So, let's get right down to it, and hear some ROCK & ROLL!  As Conductor of this SOUND TRAIN let me introduce who's who!  I'm XmasDolly Head Conductor.  (YAY - HERE THE ROAR OF THE CROWD?)  My Co-Conductors:: Lorie from The Shewbridges of Celebration, Florida,,  (LOUD WHISTLING),  Larry from Cakeblast ,  (APPLAUSE - APPLAUSE)  & last, but not least Callie from JAmericanSpice  (APPLAUSE, ROAR OF THE CROWD, WHISTLES - YAYYYYYYYYYYYY)

I'm very sorry to say there's bloggers that are just signing our linky, and not playing along.  Not acceptable!   If you're not playing you WILL be deleted. When it comes game-day there’s no better way to feed the frenzy than by using traditional favorite foods, like Popcorn Fish, BBQ and meatballs in an all-new way.  These recipes are simple to prepare,  so no one misses a second of the game. What brings these three favorites together you say? A build-your-own-slider bar!

To create a game-winning slider bar, place dishes of warm Popcorn Fish, BBQ and meatballs dishes on a table. Warm buns in the oven and place in basket alongside the all-star dishes. Then, offer guests a variety of favorite toppings (slaw, tomato slices, lettuce, tartar sauce, marinara sauce and cheese, just to name a few) and place on table. Fans can assemble their snacks as they please and no one goes home hungry!

Game Winning Playbook

The fastest way to get everything ready before kickoff is to utilize local Club Stores, like Sam’s, to stock up on the essentials without sacrificing time, taste, or money. With Byron’s Bar-B-Q, SeaPak and Casa Di Bertacchi Meatballs on hand, guests of every age will be excited to dig into dinner.

Here's the recipes!  NUMMMMERS!!!!!

BBQ Slider

1-2 oz Byron’s BBQ

1 slider burger roll

Cabbage slaw:

    Bagged cabbage mix

   ½ cup light mayonnaise

   1 Tbsp. cider vinegar

   ¼ tsp celery seed

   Dash of salt and pepper

 

Popcorn Slider

1-2 oz SeaPak Popcorn Fish or Shrimp

1 slider burger roll

Lettuce and Tomato

Tartar sauce:

   1 cup mayonnaise

   2 tsp. lemon juice

   1 Tbsp. pickle relish

   Sprinkle of salt and pepper

 

Meatball Slider

2 Casa Di Bertacchi Meatballs

1 slider burger roll

1 Tbsp. marinara sauce

1 slice mozzarella cheese

RECIPES ON WEDNESDAY/WORDFUL WEDNESDAY

This week I'm going to give you a recipe I got from a good friend of mine.  She brings it every year for Thanksmas at my husband's family's house.  It's to die for if you like cranberries!
Haven't decided if I want to open another meme or not.  I may call this my Recipe Wednesday, and we can trade secret family recipe.  Leave me a comment, and let me know if you like the idea.   Sorry I don't have a picture of this, but here's one just for ha ha's!  Have a great day! This the band we went to see last week.  They're awesome.  They're called Hi-Infeldelity.  The bald-headed guy sounds exactly like Steve Perry of Journey!  WOO HOO!  We had a blast.  More stuff to come, but that'll be in tomorrow's post.

Cranberries & Stuff!

Needed:

1 bag cranberries

1 cup sugar

2 boxes of apricot jello

2 boxes of raspberry jello

2 bags frozen raspberries

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup chopped up dried apricots

Boil cranberries according to directions on the bag

Add an extra cup of water

When the cranberries are close to being done add the 4 boxes of jello and stir

Add frozen raspberries and stir

Remove from heat

Once that cools a bit add walnuts and apricots

Note: I have found that it is better to let the mix get close to room temp before you

add the dried apricots and walnuts otherwise they absorb all the liquid.
