10:My question is:  Probably a stupid question, but how did your mother fix your hair when you were little?

My Mom use to comb my hair piece by piece to get the knots out every time she washed it because I would always yell & cry (I was spoiled by the way. Still am. hehehe). Then she use to give me bangs and... wait for it... wait for it... permanents!!! ewwwwwwwww! I was this curly head little brat when I was young. As I got older I started wearing my hair long (and never changed), and on the side, and what they use to call a page-boy which just meant curled under. When I got older & went to beauty school wigs & wiglets were in, and I was right there with the rest of the girlie girls trying them all!

ITS A HOT ONE HERE TOO!!!--BEACH DAY
POPING IN WITH WW 4TH HOP
I had short, sometimes fluffy curly red hair (picture Annie) and that's how it always stayed
Aw, sweet mother-daughter picture! And your dog is really cute, looks like a lab mix I used to have. :)
By the way, my mother or grandmother used to brush my hair and put it in braids to keep it from getting tangled... We had very thick hair, we're Romanian. I'd scream the whole time!
i had pigtails... and yep, the perms! lol, i see you are in the warm temps too... it was 111 on saturday... whew, too hot for me :)
No. I am so bummed about it too. Now, I love to fix my hair!
Have a great weekend!

My mother would have to spray my hair with de-tangler to try to try to get through my thick/wavy/curly hair. I never liked seeing her come toward me with a brush. The biggest mistake my mother ever did was have my hair feathered - oy, 80's mess.
Aw, look at your babies!
I honestly have no idea how my mom did my hair when I was younger; I know she got tired of always untangling my sister's and my hair so she ended up cutting it all off. We looked like mushroom heads for awhile o.O
Absolutely HATED that haircut!
My mother gave me one bad haircut as a kid and never touched my hair again. I did it myself!
i wore or should say still wear my hair up and mom never really fixed my hair once i was old enough to do it myself around 4
She cut my hair in a Pixie until I was old enough to complain and fix it myself. =-/
Holy crap - 110 degrees!! You're hotter than we are. =\
Love the photos of Tricia and of course Baby. =)
My dad used to cut our hair when we were little because with 4 kids we couldn't afford to go to the hairdresser. I remember having a page boy with bangs, and of course because I grew up in the 70's, I had a "shag" for quite some time. That just DID NOT work with my natural curly hair... UGH!
I then went through my perm stage which always looked like a Brillo pad because my hair took the curl too tight.
Of course I also had "The Farrah" at one point, didn't everyone?
I have been through every hairstyle ever... even the "Dorothy Hammil" - I'm still fooling around with my hair and don't know how I want to deal with it.
Hope your weekend is going fab. =)
I wore pigtails all the time!
I had long straight hair so it was usually just down or in pig tails.
