What are some of the things you’ve always wanted to do?  I'm working on it now and that is to get my back fixed by losing weight.  I'm on what they call a pre-diet prior to surgery called a sleeve, and I want to go out and boogie with my friends and DANCE AGAIN/

Question this week:  Has any of you been infected by or know someone who was infected by those steroids shots that were tainted with meningitis?

I take those shots every three months for Spinal Stenosis and knock on wood  so far so good!  Except I have noticed that usually my shots last two months, but this time it's been only one month.  So not good!

Unfortunately I have no clue where this is at or what year, but I'm going to take a wild guess that it's in Atlantic City, New Jersey where my Mom & Dad got married.  So, the year would've been 1943 & Dad was in the Army then too, and those are his Army buddies.  Dad is the handsome devil on the right.  hehehe

Same day 1943 - Dad has his arms out!  What a ham!  Typical jock! LOL

Question this week:  This week I'm going to do a little something different.  Here's my question.  Did anyone win a Dale & Thomas Popcorn giveaway?  

Well, I did.  It doesn't matter from who, but it was one of those where three or four blogs were involved with the give-away... well, two that I know for sure (I think there were more).  Anyway, I was contacted that I was one of four people that won around Father's Day this past June.  Time went on & I never got it.  I asked the girl where I entered at & she said she wasn't the main one & yada yada yada you know the rest.  I go to the main one & I let her know... nothing! I don't believe I heard back from her (if I did my memory fails me).  Anyway, I decided to contact them myself this time just the other day (after 6 or 8 e-mails later).  I got a reply today that I'd like to share with you all and the 3 other winners:

Question this week:  What do you do when you husband totally pisses you off?

I write this long e-mail how I'm right and he's wrong and I save it for a while and I delete it and give him the silent treatment because later on I figure it wasn't worth it in the first place anyway, but I still got it off my chest.  Never hold anything back.  Then I write him a small cold shoulder letter how I'm going to the store so he can have some me time, and usually when I get back he'll say he's sorry!  Works every time... unless I'm wrong after I think about it and then he'll find a note on his computer screen "I'M SORRY", but we never ever go to bed mad!

Actually I have 2 questions this week:  1.  Looks like I'm going to need some new Friday Blog hops.  Any suggestions that are fun?  And my 2nd question is:   I'm taking a poll!  When you think of a costume party granted some of us think of Halloween, but not necessarily right?  You've heard of Toga parties, or a luau or maybe you would dress up for a theme party like Country or St. Patricks day.  So, how many of you would think it odd if I had a costume party this Saturday??? Just curious. 

Well I am having a Family/Friend Reunion Costume Party on Saturday.  So far all my friends thinks it's a great idea so we can party in the nice weather outside instead of freezing at Halloween & everyone gets to see it instead of your coat.  So what do you think?  Kids to by the way.

This was my very first house that I bought back in 1978.  It was a handyman special and we were fixing it up... let me rephrase that, "I WAS" Fixing it up cux my "X" was LAZY!  This is as close as I ever came to a fireplace.  I love them.  This was painted white and boarded up.  I chipped off the paint with a little hammer and took down the boards and found BOOKCASES, woo hoo!  I made doors and was Zbricking the front.  It looked awesome when I was done, but don't h ave that picture sorry.

This is my oldest son, Mom and my oldest daughter.  I would say it's approximately 1975/76 standing by my old junk car which I have no idea what kind nor the year, and it's out in front of my Mom's house in Oaklawn, IL.  She loved her grandbabies sooooooo much!

My question is:   See under Flashback Friday where I started Z-Bricking my fireplace.  How do you think that would look on one-wall in my office?

This house too has been a project from the beginning (12 yrs. ago), and also a handyman special.  We have remodeled most of the house except for our office.  We just haven't focused on it, but we did come up with this idea, but just not sure that's why we've been thinking about it for over a year.  LOL
