Hi Everyone! This is my Weight Be Gone Thursday for me. If you'd like to follow me in my journey you are welcome. If you'd like to share your own journey feel free to sign my linky below, and I'll come visit you. The reason I've started my journey is I had a rude awakening to the reality of life in that I'm not getting any younger, and if I still wanted to lead a fun, and happy life I had to make some serious changes.
Last week I believe I told you I weighed in at 250 lbs. As of today I weighed in at 253. I have gained 3lbs. If you seen yesterday's Post. You would have saw that my leg is a bit wrapped up do to Cellulitis (maybe - read yesterday's Post), and as soon as my leg starts to feel better I'll be exercising again. Also, my grandson turned four years old, and NaNee cheated with a bit of ice cream & last weekend my granddaughter stayed with me to help me out around the house and we had some quality time together. This week do to medical problems I'm depressed because I cannot walk around the park, which was a feat in itself for me. I'm still watching my portions and what I eat, but I guess that's not enough. Some people have told me maybe it's muscle weight, but who knows. I need to break the ice, which means to get into the 240's numbers, as you see in the picture below no exercise is possible??
Tomorrow is the doctor's and this might be coming off, but then my right leg will look like this for treatment, OH JOY!
So for now if you'd like to sign my linky and share out your diet or a low cal recipe, anything regarding losing weight that would be wonderful. Thanks for dropping by, and anyone that would like to leave a comment in any of my reviews or if you'd like to check out my give-aways feel free my friends and have a great day!
Thanking you for stopping by, and listening. I do have a button to the left if you'd like it so you can come back next Thursday. If you'd like to join me in my journey - make a spreadsheet like me and sign my linky & we'll follow this yellow brick road to the wizard and ask him for a new body!

It happens. Just pick yourself up and start again tomorrow. If you saw my posting today on MFP, you would have seen that I blew my whole calorie intake on lunch alone. Gah...not even dinner yet. :)
Get well my friend.

PS>Where is that e-mail from you?
Portion control is really the best fight for long term struggles with weight issues, but if you're up for the challenge then you may want to look into something like the Atkins diet. It's never fun restricting yourself of foods, but honestly, if you can limit your carbs and eat lean proteins then you'll see the weight melt off. The first three days are the worse on you, but if you can ride them out then you'll be a happy camper. I'm there with you, ever bit you take! Hugs & love to you!!!
Don't be too hard on yerself, my friend. We've all been there.
Feel better and start fresh tomorrow.
