Don't forget to sign up so we can all visit and comment on each others pics/blogs! IT'S GREAT FUN!   First picture is my mama.  Wasn't she a cutie?  I wasn't born yet, so I'm assuming that's their first apartment after getting married.

The picture to my left is our family car when I was growing up, and behind it is the house where I grew up.

My question is:   Easter being this Sunday do you hold your own private Easter egg hunt for your kids, and are you doing anything special this year?

When my kids were little I always hid the eggs... ooops, I mean the Easter Bunny always hid the eggs in our frontroom.  Only thing is if the kids didn't find them all and let's say a week went by... oh my goodness, we sure found the egg then.  hahaha  We're having turkey dinner at my house on Saturday so the kids can go by the in-laws on Sunday.  This way they don't have to hop around all day long, and pick and choose who they're going to eat by.  Plus I like it better when they stay all day instead of rushing off to go to the next house.

Wasn't that fun?  ~hehe~  Have a Great Weekend Everyone, and THANKS for stopping by, and following me.   Oh!  Don't forget about "MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME".    This Monday  is "FREEBIE" week.  As I said before every other week is a freebie week, the other weeks we have themes.  Hope you  ALL can make it. It's tons of fun & don't forget bring a friend!  Hell, bring lots of friends. I'd kind of like to break our record this week with people joining.  The highest we've had was 39 I believe.  So, come on it's time to ROCK & ROLL!   Have a great weekend!

LOL I think my boys are a little too old for Easter egg hunts. Plus it will be a bit difficult for me to hide them when they both live out of state lol.
Eating with family and visiting family.
Now 2 questions for you...how did Trish do? New Blog?

Two years ago, we went to the mountains for Easter. Last year we eat out and spent time on the beach. We liked that so much that now it has become a tradition. So this year we will be eating out and spending the time on the beach.

I think it's so cool you have such amazing pictures from way back when! :)

I always hide eggs in the living room for Princess Nagger to find - and let her know that the Easter Bunny left a note on how many there are, because she's OCD like that and wants to make sure she finds them all. ;) I'll be recruiting the hubby to take her out for a drive tomorrow so I can put her Easter basket together (I forgot she's off today, should have done it yesterday!) and I'll be making a big ham dinner with all the side dishes on Sunday. :)

Have a great weekend, my friend - and Happy Easter! :)

Since we are military and are usually away from family, we are not doing to much this year, plus we are in the middle of a big move to Japan. Growing up mom always did Easter Egg hunts and we had family meals. We will be cooking a meal and I will be baking some homemade bread.

Passover is our holiday, so no hunt here. We may try to take the kids to the park (if it is nice) or to a movie Sunday.
