Of course you have awesome choices as usual! :) Love them all! :)
Spiritual Music Monday Blog Hops
I didn't join in on the theme because I'm not religious, but my family is my life, so I hope you'll like my choice.
Very good songs. I love the Oh Happy Day one. Loved that movie. Whitney, Carrie and Beyonce have great voices. Great choices. Sorry I don't do the theme unless Amanda has one but it's fun playing anyway. Have a great week ahead.
Damn - I totally missed the Christian week...i thought it was a freebie week - it still says that the post ..OOPS!
Hi! Found you through a blog hop and now following. I hope you can follow back also; I'd appreciate it so much ;-) Have a lucky week!
Oh Happy Day performed in Sister Act 2 is well done. I gospel classics done through lively spirituals such as this. There's no doubt, you'll NEVER see a group of white folks getting down like this with a old church hymn as this.
How Great There Art is so beautiful. This is one of my all time favorites and usually no matter who the arttist is who performs this song, I get goose bumps. The lyrics are that moving.
Thank you for sharing these with us!

Christian Rock post.
Great picks, mama! I almost picked a song from Sister Act this week too, but then, I heard this song I chose and it seemed very fitting for my life as of late.
Thanks for the MM shout out! You rock! :-)
Nice choices Dolly! You have me rockin', swayin' and feelin' fine. Have a great week lady!!
Man, why didn't I think of those songs!? LOL
Those are some great songs for the theme-I remember watching The Fighting Temptations and of course Sister Act 1&2(which are GREAT!).
Now I don't really know if my song is appropriate for this week O.o
Oh well, we had fun!
Have a musical week :D
Hey! I just want to apologize, my video post is not posting.... and I added my link before discovering that!
Guess this week I am going to have to miss out.....
oooh i love sister act!!! and cant forget carrie underwood! what a great way to start the week! love it
It's amazing how pervasive religious music is in this country, isn't it?
Oh, and I totally forgot about that sister act performance... love it! another great one from that movie: a little baby lauryn hill singing "his eye is on the sparrow"!
You always have a great jumpstart to the week with your tunes. Thanks for sharing
Oh, I SO love the version of "O Happy Day" that you posted... it gives me chills, too.
I wasn't sure I was going to like this weeks theme, but I'm finding that I am really enjoying a lot of the songs. Great choice, girlfriend! HUGGLES.
These are great picks Dolly!
I had no idea Carrie sung that one too!
Great hosting woman!
*HUGS* Feel better soon.
I really think that we have quite a great match in our taste of music. All your choices belong to my favorites, too.
My song might not be the perfect fit for this week's theme, but I like to think that friends are angels in disguise send from heaven to accompany us in our journey. I have been going through a rough week and needed something to express gratitude toward my friends. Hopefully it's still acceptable. Have a blessed week :)
