"In Hawaii, Aloha Friday a day of rest. So we're doin' the same. On Fridays we're taking it easy on posting. Therefore, our hostess is asking a simple question for you to answer; nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d  like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at the very friendly place of Islandlife808.com. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends and find new followers!

My question is:   Okay can you remember your most favorite thing you use to do as a kid?

I asked that question for a reason because as you see above I went to summer camp and every day was something different from learning how to ride a horse, learning crafts like making bracelets and seashell earrings, swimming, hiking and we left in the morning and came home at night.  It was really a whole lot of fun.

Wasn't that fun?  Have a Great Weekend Everyone, and THANKS for stopping by, and following me.   Oh!  Don't forget"MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME".   This week's theme is  "Theme songs from MOVIES" (not TV shows)   Looking forward to seeing you all and  BRING ALL your friends.  HUGS  & Have a great weekend!

No surprise but I have to say read. I loved, even then, to be surrounded by books. Walking to the library and picking out books. And in the summer laying in the grass under a big tree we had and just escape into my books.

Love that picture of you! Friends of ours had horses, so we were thrilled every time we went over there since we got to ride them all the time. And like CMash, another favorite thing to do was read - if you couldn't find me, I was off somewhere reading...even high up in one of the pine trees in our back yard! :)

I used to read a lot of books and go cycling on my bike when I was young.

My favorite thing was hanging out with my friends on the block, especially when we went to my Nana and Papa's pool close by in the summer. So many fun memories. Wish we had a close neighborhood like I did when I was growing up.

I loved hanging out at the local pool. This is before all of the sun damage stuff came out and it was fashionable to walk around with a red face.

Have a great weekend!

I've always loved to read, even as a child.

I remember many picnics at the beach in San Diego. ;D

I liked playing outside. I had small animals and soldiers and I would go to the edge of the yard were the grass was high and my little toys would have adventures. Or I'd pretend to be a cowgirl and my bike was my horse. That was another favorite game.

You and my sister would get along splendidly because she loves horses and horseback riding :)

When I was a kid, I loved riding my bike around the neighborhood-THAT was freedom!

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend ^.^
