My Mom Christmas 1948. Will you look at that TV! That's my brother's drum set in front of a REAL tree. Remember those? |
Question Of The Week: What are your favorite Christmas carols? Are there any songs that embody
the spirit of Christmas for you? Do you participate in any special
musical events during the holiday season? Share the music that makes you
merry this Friendship Friday!
This has to be my favorite Christmas song lately. It is so stuck in my head ever since it was played at Monday's Music Moves Me. HELP!!! LOL I must admit though all the Christmas Carols are my favorites. I guess the most favorite one is Nat King Cole's The Christmas Song is my most favorite! The only thing I participate in regarding special musical events is I've already seen one Christmas concert, Gary Ho Ho Hoey & Church. The next song makes me very merry! ENJOY!

I am done sending cares but I do keep an extra few for those surprise ones. You know the one you get from a great aunt you have totally not seen fro years but out of the blue she sends you a Christmas card so of course you do the polite thing and send one back
I am doing sending out cards but the Christmas shopping continues.
Love the Hippo song! Don't forget Pepino, the Italian Christmas mouse and Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey (don't ask me why they are both Italian!)

I LOVE your flashback photos! Too precious! :)
I'm halfway there! I have the cards purchased, I just need to stick 'em in the envelopes, address 'em and stamp 'em...guess I better get that done this weekend, eh? I'm almost done with the Christmas shopping - I need to find all the ones I've got stashed in safe hiding places (that apparently are safe even from me...) so I can figure out what I still need to buy. ;) I wrapped about half of them yesterday, so there's progress there, too. ;)
That hippopotamus song is hilarious - there are so many I love, I can't choose a favorite! :) Oh, wait, I know - Up On The Housetop...that's right up there at the top. :)
Kailani has some personal stuff going on in her life - I've revived my Friday Free For All linky so all us wayward Aloha participants can have a place to link up - feel free to stop on by! :)
Once Upon a Christmas Past...
