WW & My Cornbread with a little extra!

Happy Wordless Wednesday is a great day to post a picture that “speaks” for itself, no words needed!  I blog-hop all day long looking at great pics & blogs, finding new friends! How about you?  I sign up at my buddies below & then from then on WHO KNOWS!
Ladies I make my Cornbread from a box, BUT hubby didn't like it. Said it was too dry & bland.  So, here's what I do with mine.  I had a half a cup of Applesauce.  Then...
Spray my pan with butter spray!
Put 2 pkgs of Sweetner (or Sugar) & stir.

I cook normally, and I'm really sorry, but by the time I got to the cake with my camera this is what I found!
I guess he left me a piece?  I guess he likes it! LOL The Applesauce makes it moist, a bit more flavor & sugar sweetens it a bit.  Try it maybe the kids will even like it.

That looks really good. I like to eat my cornbread with honey and butter. That looks so inviting.

Fantastic idea! I love cornbread and I love the convenience of making it out of a box. I generally just add spices to jazz up the flavor, but I never thought of changing the texture to make it more moist. This is a great tip!

I like the Marie Callendar's mix best, but it has been a year since I bought any. We aren't too big on cornbread in our home, just our home baked bread. This looks like a great way to add some moisture and a bit more sweetness to a cornbread mix.

That's the greatest compliment a chef can get--when the food they make is nearly gone! Hehe ^.^

Can't blame the man though; looked and sounded pretty darn delicious!
