Chicago Toy and Game Fair - November 19-20, 2011

There were booths everywhere
www.AlphabetKids.com
I was invited to be the guest at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair's exclusive  Media/Blogger Preview Event at Navy Pier in downtown Chicago, Il courtesy of , and it was really very interesting and HUGE!  I couldn't believe the things that were there.  I had a blast with my daughter (NightOwlMaMa) and two of my grandchildren.  My daughter went one way with my grandson and my granddaughter and I went the other!  So come on & join us.  Let's go this way:

Booths were everywhere, and real quick I have to tell you when I went there I had forgotten to charge my battery for my camera & a really nice lady behind the food stand plugged it in for me & 15 minutes later WAH LA PICTURES!!!  Thank you again to that very nice lady!

She's a big "Hello Kitty" fan!
There were tables to actually sit down & play the game.  Telestations.com

WHOA! ~

Lego Santa & there's Sponge Bob

Just catching a second wind here! lol

I have so many pics we could be here all day.  From new trains & remote controlled helicopters that they were flying around the room to little jeeps the kids could actually ride & drive.

Sponge Bob & my darlings! Legoland

We sat & played games, laughed and even bought a few to help ol' Santa out if ya know what I mean.  These games were mind blowing at times, and a few I just didn't get, but my granddaughter sure did.  haha-

So as I said we could be here all day with the pictures I took, but for now let me mention a few favorites of mine.  They were just too cool.  Domestic Executive Online (Embracing Blissful Everyday Fabulosity),  GriddlyGames, Flipoutz (a favorite), Zobmondo (Party Gras - cool game we played), Slooks
The Midwest Garrison,
Perplexus
and  Floppets

I so love games & to be at a place with all new ones I was like a little kid at a candy store, and they even sat, and played with us to show us how the game worked & on top of all that guess who was there?

So my friends, if you like toys & games, if you want on hand experience, if you want a great time with your kids if Chitag contacts you for a Chicago Toy and Game Fair get ready for the time of your life.  Don't hesitate just go for it!  MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Ooops One more, totally cool

Now, I may have been a bit busy the past few weeks with family business (death in the family as you all know & I cooked the Thanksgiving Holiday & getting up decorations & top of it all a trip to the ER due to a bad reaction on a prescription of mine), BUT I don't forget anyone that was so kind to me, and my family who sponsored us for such a wonderful fun trip!  Thank you Chitag (MaryKay) you're the best!  We had a blast, and it was extremely interesting, but most of all fun!  If you ever get the chance to do something like that next year GO!  YOU WON'T REGRET IT!  WOO HOO!

November 19th & 20th at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall
Toys and games from all around the world, inventor meet and greet,
Star Wars breakfast, Radio Disney, tournaments, young inventor challenge, characters, stage events, prizes and more! (Many more pictures on my facebook).

Looks like a ton of fun for everyone. I'm so glad that you got to go, especially with your granddaughter... That way you could act like a kid and look silly. =)
Love the photos, especially the one with Santa, both the Lego one and the "real" one.
Thanks for sharing.

I'm so sorry for your loss. With everything you've got going on, I really appreciate the time you took to write this wonderful post about your visit to ChiTAG. I'm happy that you and your daughter and grandkids had a chance to play with so many toys & games, and see all that you did at the Fair! Hope to see you again next year!

Wow that looks really interesting. I love weird games so you can imagine I was staring at your photo of that 'Telestrations' game trying to see how it really DID get to become underpants!??? W.C.C.
