Thursday's Recipe Swap Meet! Watermelon Salsa mmmm

WELCOME TO OUR 23rd "RECIPE SWAP MEET"!

  • 3 cups finely diced seedless watermelon, (about 2 1/4 pounds with the rind)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Place watermelon, jalapenos, cilantro, lime juice and onion in a medium bowl; stir well to combine. Season with salt. Serve at room temperature or chilled.   Serve with warm tortilla chips. 
Takes about 20 minutes to make

Not really my kind of dish, but I love the way it looks inside the watermelon, especially with the top on. Too cute!

My friend makes a watermelon salsa. I was surprised at how tasty it was! I love how you used the watermelon as a serving bowl. Cute!
