Those songs you've picked always send chills up my spine. Although I couldn't get your Beyonce one to work. I would've liked to hear what she did with the song, and of course I've not heard Will Smith, but right now time for me to get to work. Thanks to you & friends for hosting a wonderful meme.

Wonderful choices for Memorial Day! I had forgotten about that Will Smith song!
I still prefer the original "Proud to be an American" over the Beyonce version, but she did a marevelous job on the National Anthem - which is really hard to do.
I really don't like rap at all, but at least Will Smith doesn't swear or sing about nasty things.
