WELCOME TO OUR 11th "RECIPE SWAP MEET"!
"Oh no, what am I going to make tonight"? Why not pick one of our Recipes! Your grandmother's secret recipe has a coming out party and it's tonight!

Lorie's recipe is at her blog.
We all have recipes from our family archives that we've collected over the years, and maybe some we have swapped from friends, magazines, cookbooks, & neighbors!
DIP DISH
This dish use to be my Mother-in-law's, and I guess I've inherited this cool prop to a neat Party! I personally love dips and appetizers. I could probably live on those, and be very happy. LOL So, I decided to share some of the recipes it has on our very cool dish, and by the way the cup doesn't come off the bowl. It's attached (glued on). So, maybe I'll just give you one for today, and this will be a TO BE CONT. (~snicker-snicker~ ain't I a stinker lol). Here goes. This first one is called:
ANOTHER DIP FROM THE ALMIGHTY BOWL!TACO CHIP DIP
1 pkg. of Philadelphia cream cheese (soft)
1 can of chili (preferably without beans, but not necessary)
1 pkg. of shredded Mexican cheese
1 jar of salsa (optional)
You take the cream cheese and smoosch it in the bowl with the back of a tablespoon. then pour the chili on top and smooth it all over the cream cheese.
Then put a tablespoon here and there of salsa and smooth all over.
Then sprinkle your shredded Mexican Cheese all over.
I personally prefer doing this in a pie dish. Then I put it in the microwave on 2 minutes if the cheese isn't melted yet add another minute, and serve with taco chips. It's a big hit at parties.
