WHAT'S IN MY COFFEE? PART II THE SOLUTION "PUR Water Filtration & GIVE-AWAY"

GIVE AWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
WINNER IS:  KARENMED409
THANK YOU ALL FOR ENTERING.

Last week, I posted a question about a nasty looking/tasting cup of coffee.  No matter what was done from changing coffee brands, scrubbing the pot, changing soaps etc. nothing seem to work.  I decided to ask  my readers/friends their opinion.  I got many different suggestions, and I tried them all except many of you came up with the same suggestion.  Test the water!

I decided to contact PUR Water Filtration, and explain my problem to them.  They were completely understanding, and forwarded vital information, and a PUR Water Filtration System pitcher, and wished me luck.  They totally agreed with my methodology as to how to find out what was the culprit in this crime.  My goal was to transform this worthless cup of mud into something actually drinkable.

First, I cleaned the coffee pot, then followed the directions for the PUR Water Filtration System.   I filled the pitcher with tap water & I waited.  I watched anxiously as it  drip, drip, dripped into the pitcher.  How clear the water was & sparkly.  (Okay, the sun was behind the pitcher & made it sparkle-give me a break),  Oh my gosh! It's READY!  Let's pour the water into the coffee pot.  On a side note, a big shout out to Folgers Coffee. I had contacted them & sent a copy of my post.  They very graciously sent me a coupon for a free can of coffee, and would like to know my results also.

Now, back to my experiment.  As the coffee was brewing I began to read about the PUR Water Filtration System, and the many interesting facts about the company, and what they are doing to help the world clean up it's water & help the people/children in the less fortunate countries, but first... FINALLY the moment we've all been waiting for.  DRUM ROLL PLEASE (My husband is such a ham - his input),  My coffee went from this:  TOTALLY GROSS!

To THIS:  AHHH!

DOESN'T THAT LOOK GOOD! TA - DA!
OH, AND IT TASTE SOOOOO GOOD!
I totally LUV my new PUR Water Filtration Pitcher. (Pause here for a sip of GOOD coffee). Many, many thanks to PUR.  It's also the only pitcher that removes 99.9% microbial cysts, reduces 98% lead, and also reduces Mercury, Chlorine (taste and odor), and even more. I'll tell you the line that sold me is it filters tap water into crystal clean water that moisturizes your skin & hair, hydrates your body, and is essential to get you through the day!  WAIT THERE'S MORE! PUR Pitcher can even replace up to 2,000 16 oz. bottles of water per year, and also save you money!  Okay, I'm sold! SAVE ME MONEY! I'm so there!

The PUR Water Filtration system works, and gets the job done.  It's effective, simple, and affordable. There is no reason for you  or I to drink water that tastes dirty or like chlorine or serve your family food prepared with water containing toxins and bacteria or for your children or grandchildren to ingest any harmful water because you have the power to use a PUR water filtering system.  Keep a pitcher PUR filtered water on hand or keep one in the fridge for drinking, and one by the stove for cooking or maybe you prefer to have PUR devices installed on your faucet or in your refrigerator.  All I know is I don't ask my husband for much, but I told him I want a new faucet in the kitchen.  One I can attach PUR Faucet Water Filter too!  I want to make lemonade, ice tea, hot cocoa, and I bet even my cooking is going to taste even better (not that that's possible, but probable ~hehe~).  I'm also going to send these posts to the City Hall of the city where I live.  That's who we pay our water bill too!  Maybe they would be interested, ya think?

PŪR is the first leading water filtration brand to claim reduction of trace levels of pharmaceuticals identified in U.S. tap water – more than 99% for PŪR faucet filters, and more than 96% for PŪR pitchers.  PŪR filters remove 99.9% of microbial cysts such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium, which can lead to intestinal illness. PŪR filters also reduce many kinds of contaminants in the water, while leaving fluoride, which is essential for developing and maintaining healthy teeth in children and adults, giving it the American Dental Association Seal of Approval. For more information on contaminant reduction, certification and testing, visit www.purwater.com.

Now, I feel compelled to mention a side note about PUR Water Filtration.  Millions of children die each year from diseases due to unsafe drinking water in the developing world.  To take on this crisis, P&G partnered with a diverse network of organization to create the Children's Safe Drinking Water Program.  Since the formation they've helped save thousands of lives by distributing PUR packets, an amazing innovation quickly turns dirty water into clean drinking water.  With every purchase of a PUR system, a portion of the proceeds will go to Children's Safe Drinking Water Program.  Since 2004, P&G, the PUR brand and their partners have proudly shared over 1.6 billion liters of clean water with people in need.  I applaud such a humanitarian company.  To learn more visit CSDW.org

PUR Water Filtration System Company is also giving one of my readers the chance to win a system for your very own, and it will be your choice to have a PUR Water Filtration Pitcher or Faucet Mount.

Would love this to remove lead and other contaminants from our drinking water! San Francisco water is fine, but we will soon be moving and we're wondering what we'll do about water, so this would be perfect for us. So glad you found the problem with your yucky coffee!

I found it removes cryptosporidium from your water. This is really good. My son is very susceptable to this because of his kidneys. After 3 times calling my city water works to have them test, each time they found it in our water. I gave up and started buying water to protect my son. With this I could save money and protect my son's health.
