Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Review

Flavors honey & wild cherry a bag for home an a new round can for your purse.
I've been taking Pine Bros. throat drops for many years.  I first started taking them when I was working as a waitress so I wouldn't being passing any germs to the public, and then I started taking the honey ones for my throat when I was singing with hubby's band.  Before I left home I would always have some Hot tea and honey (hubby too), but during the night from all the screaming/singing my throat would start to get raspy so I popped one of Pine Bros. with honey in my mouth and I was as good as gold.
This is my neighbor & her friend from CA.

I had to share this one with you.  It's too cute!
Jackie says I want this one.  Cherry is her favorite!  You go girl!

Now, if you go to their website you'll find out their history such as did you know how it started? "In 1870 J. Herman Pine hung out a confectionery shingle on 8th Street above Walnut in Philadelphia and, along with his brother, sold their first batch of what they called 'Pine Brothers Glycerine Tablets.' In an attempt to relieve his own sore throat and those of his family members, Mr. Pine, a former German confectionery maker, determined that by combining the soothing natural qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia, he could sooth and mitigate the mild discomfort of a sore throat. Add in some natural flavoring and a sweetener and voila, Pine Brothers Softish Throat Drops were born. "I have discovered something," Pine wrote, "which will give quick throat relief to thousands afflicted as I was." He added,"Perhaps I won't make much money out of this. But I can make people happy, and that's more important than money." Mr. Pine was being unduly modest, as his "discovery" would become one of the most successful, most delicious and most unique throat lozenges in the world. Nor has the recipe changed appreciably since it was first introduced to the public over 140 years ago. (read more)...

Can you believe they've been around that long?  Well, it's pretty interesting anyway and you can also order them on line there too or at CVS or at many of your local drug and food stores.  I keep them in my desk drawer all the time, and give them to the grandkids when they come over and I hear a bit of a cough.  Wanna see the smile I get???
Soft & chewy & tastes good
Easy to give to kids over the age of three because of the great flavors.
"LOL"

Wow, they've been around for THAT long? Now that's what I call a quality, long-lasting company right there!

I can't say I've heard or tried of this brand before, but if they've been around for that long you know they're quality :)

Fantastic review!
