Today's theme is a  "FREEBIE"!  SO, I went to the Arcada Theater tonight/yesterday, and saw "FOREIGNER", and I've never had so much fun! WISH YOU ALL COULD HAVE BEEN THERE!  The show was "FANTASTIC"!  TRULY AWESOME!

Foreigner is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world, racking up scores of smash hits, multi-platinum albums, and sold out concert tours.

From Cold As Ice to Hot Blooded, Urgent to Jukebox Hero, Waiting For A Girl Like You to the chart topper I Want To Know What Love is, Foreigner's thrilling mix of blustery blues and impeccably crafted pop continues to captivate generation after generation of music fans.

Today, over 70 million albums later, Foreigner is an ensemble of talented musicians each adding their individual credentials to the mix to make the band stronger and
more powerful than ever.

Juke Box Hero
Thanks to my husband's friend, and other lead guitar player, and vocalist in hubby's band Mike, for tickets to this fantastic event.  He knows the owner Ron Onesti, of the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, and Greg (drummer) and his girl we all went, and we had the screaminest, rockinest, time including shakin' our booties!  WOO HOO!

I love Foreigner! Some days in high school I listened to them in between furrowing my brow over Algebra and chanting Edgar Allan Poe's Annabel Lee.

Me in the Spotlight Dance - that's fun! Thanks :)

One of my first dates with my husband was to a Foreigner concert, so I have a soft spot for them! (In fact, "Waiting for a Girl Like You" is our song!)

I apologize for any misunderstanding. I linked to my blog, not a specific giveaway. I'm sorry if you thought I was trying to promote a giveaway when I was actually just trying to promote my page. It just happens my last post happened to be a giveaway. I apologize for any inconvenience this was for you. I was also going to post your button but could not find the HTML code to add, which is why it is not up there yet. I apologize again. Mommy Time Out @ http://angela-mommytimeout.blogspot

Wo-ho, you are so lucky! I never have been to a concert. Thanks for sharing and hosting again. I always come on exciting new music here. Answering your question last week on my post, yes we have a time difference. But, I also tend to come late sometimes. Have a blessed week :)
