This is my dad and me over at 12th St. Beach in Chicago. It's probably 1952. Yes, I was a Daddy's girl.

My question is: What are you going to miss about this past summer the most?
I'm going to miss vacation time. I love vacationing, getting away and driving somewhere we've never been before. I'm also going to miss visiting and people visiting me. I become pretty much a hermit in the winter unless someone comes to visit me. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND & THANKS FOR STOPPING BY. HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN REAL SOON!

you're such a cutie..were you a father's girl?..pictures like this bring back memories..=)
What a precious photo of you and your daddy!
Nice vintage shot. Both my girls are Daddy's girls...
Love the photo of you and your dad! As far as your question, I don't think I'm going to miss very much of anything from this summer. I cannot wait to have cooler weather. It's been triple digit heat in Phoenix all summer long.
All our photo albums are in a container in Finland! :)
Follow Friday 40 and over greetings from Casablanca, Morocco...
What a great pic of you and your dad! I love when you share these photos.
Happy Aloha Friday as well. I will miss being at stay at home mother from this summer. the very first ever in my kids' life.
I love the early morning sun rises.
Have a great Friday!

Awwww Dolly, that's a sweet picture. Here voting again (smiles). I'm a hermit too in the winter - but I think a lot of women are too.

The warmth..hate the cold...and the longer days of sunlight.

Awwwe, I love your flashback pic!! That is just too cute. And what will I miss about this summer?? I'll never be 45 during the summer after this year - maybe I'll miss that. ha ha I don't like the heat so I'm not a big summer lover but I don't like ice either. Go figure. Have a great weekend ~ ♥
I'm already following but I just wanted to stop by and say Hi! :)
The only thing I will miss is family visiting.
I'm going to miss the days of no schedules! Now its time for packing lunches, homework, etc..ugh!
lol
Have a great weekend!
Love the photo of you with your father. You can tell that you're daddy's girl!
Summer has flown by for me because it has all been about finding a house, selling our house, packing to move, moving, and settling in. We still have boxes to unpack! Summer has been incidental to it all, and I missed it.
Your picture is great, I grew up in Chicago too! Our old beach photos often have bathing caps in them, remember those? I too have enjoyed getting out the old photos, but they sure look older than I feel. By the way, we are often in Batavia, both of our moms live at the Holmstad. Small world!
I'm gonna miss vacation too, but mostly barbecued steak~
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I know I'm going to enjoy participating in the photo flashbacks. Plus it will motivate me to get all of those old photos scanned! I went to college near Chicago, but never went to the beach there. ~ so glad to meet you!
That is a great picture of you and your dad! Precious! I don't think I'll miss anything about this summer! I look forward to moving on! I will miss the vegetables out of the garden though! Have a great weekend!
I will miss long sunny days.
Hi Dolly:
