A blast from the past.  We eloped in Dec. of 99', but our true wedding renewing our vows for my MIL to see her baby boy get married wasn't until June 2000.  Now we met in July 1991 and our first date we danced to a tune by the Righteous Brothers and has been our song ever since.

 

After the kiss, Congrats, a few pics, the Groom ran off to play in the band we had set up in the garage.  Tables were set up under a Canopy. One of Dave's songs that he does lead in and the first one he played at our wedding was (I also have his - but it wasn't at our wedding sorry):

(straight out of camera...no editing) I don't remember if I ever tried this, but I had the button in my side-bar, so I'm sure it's there to remind me! Anyway, whether you are a professional photographer, an amateur photographer, or just someone who likes taking pictures (that part is me), our host encourages us to link up!  So here I am trying it out another time. This is a super simple weekend meme that doesn’t take up much time!  Sooooooo, going to give it a whirl, and see what happens. 

I went to lunch with my SIL Jeri out in Geneva and we went to a place called, "Egg Harbor".  What a great little place.  Anyway, around the corner from the place there was this little store that sold nothing, but homemade children's clothes, and things and they had the most wonderful antique decorations to brighten up the store, and well having my camera with me here ya go - I'm justa sharin' with my buds!  Aren't they wonderful!

My question is: Okay, I'm trying to take a poll how many of you have the flu or anything close to it (whether it be pneumonia - cold or flu) how many of  you have it now or have recently had it.

Answer: I am now getting over bronchial pneumonia.  No more hacking cough, headache & body aches, and my nose ran so much it should be in Russia by now.  I'm still a little stuffy in the morning & finally getting some strength back.  This one really kicked my butt!

PLASMACAR REVIEW/GIVE-AWAY

How many men does it take to put together one little Plasmacar! lol  What no batteries?

 WHERE'S THE PEDALS MOM?

Did your little one not get what they wanted for Christmas?  Well, look what just fell out of Santa's Sled.  Does this look like fun or what?  My little grandson Edward who lives in Missouri is coming in next weekend to get his presents and I can't wait until he sees this one.  It'll be perfect and I'm sure he'll love it just as these two grandchildren did.

No pedals just steer!  For 3 yrs and up.  Even  my 39 year old son had a great time putting it together with a little coaxing from step-dad LOL, and it wasn't hard.  Personally between me and you I'm sure my grandson Cody could've put it together. LOL  The very best thing about this Plasma Car is ''NO BATTERIES".  Strictly works on "KID POWER"!  Teaches a sense of coordination, and sense of direction and tons of fun.  Did I mention it never gets a flat tire?

So, you want one?  No, REALLY it fell out of Santa's sleigh (and if you believe that one I'll sell you a bridge in Brooklyn - cheap! lol), or wait maybe there's a Birthday coming up, and maybe just because!  Enter now!

My friend Mrs. Claus over at "Like Christmas Every Day" is sporting a new meme (well, new to me), and it's called Black & White Wednesday & I'm going to try it!  Here's mine: 

Good-Bye to White Castles from us.

Do you have a clue how much the medium size chili costs at White Castle? $3.59, and this is what you get, and it was cold.  Not warm, COLD.  It was a half of a cup.  I  mean dam!!

Remember when you use to get an over flowing box of fries? Not at this place!

We asked for everything on our #2 we're talking a dot of ketchup & a dot of mustard & barely warm.  I won't order shakes there because their whip cream is so thick you could frost a cake with it and the shake itself taste like chalk.  Now this doesn't happen all the time, but once is too many, but it's been happening a lot lately. The White Castle in Batavia (at night) is giving White Castle's a bad name.  I'm really ticked about the chili.

WHITE CASTLES you need to come down hard on these people.  They're really giving you a bad name.  Batavia, IL.  I'll tell you what we stopped going there, and we'll try Wendy's chili or Steak & Shake, but it won't be White Castle any more!  That's just sad!

One last thing yesterday was the birthday of the "King of Rock & Roll"! Yes, Elvis himself, but do you know why I remember this when I'm really not such a crazy fan of Elvis?  Don't get me wrong I like most of his music etc., but I remember because it was my Dad's birthday too.  He would've been 89 yrs. old.  Happy Birthday Man! I love you. (The "Man" thing was a  joke between him & I).  This was his favorite song - this one's for your Dad - I  miss you!
