My question is:  Now that fall is here and  Halloween is almost upon us do you put winter clothes out and summer clothes away or do you just leave everything out?  Also, did anyone start Christmas shopping yet???

I have this huge box and a aluminum closet in the basement.  I always put summer clothes and things away, and exchange for winter things and visa-versa in the spring.

My Christmas shopping goes on all year long.  If I see something on sale I think one of the kids is going to like I buy it.  I have to many to buy for to wait until the last minute.  We're talking 4 kids and spouses, and 9 grandkids and that's just on my side alone.  Plus my little bro and his wife.  The hubby has a Sister and her family we exchange gifts with.  She has two children.

Have a Great Weekend Everyone, and THANKS for stopping by, and following me.   Oh!  Don't forget about this Monday - "MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME"  Check the theme for this week.  It's Movie Week, which means MOVE ME BABY!  Yes, you get to pick whatever you like.  I truly hope you ALL can make it.  Boogie Time!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY!

This is the hill I go down on Randall Rd. in Geneva, IL to go home from the Health and Wellness Center.  Isn't it breath taking?

Here's another new home for Wordless Wednesday  Parenting By Dummies.  Now I haven't a clue what's going on, and why there's two.  Somebody tell me, and we'll both know.  All I know is that Angie handed down her Wordless/Wordful Wednesday to Amanda aka Dumb Mom, and if Angie says she's okay that's good enough for me.

HURRY UP AND WAIT!

Unfortunately for the past week I've been waking up with a very unhappy back.  The last few days it's been pretty bad, but eventually it would be tolerable.  I do have a appointment with a new pain control doctor.  YES - FINALLY!  I CAN HARDLY WAIT!  We'll see what happens!  Wish me luck, but here I am only a few more days, and I woke up this morning, and I couldn't wait any longer.  I woke up, and the pain was uncontrollable. and the next thing I know...  I was getting a shot of something stronger than morphine!  Lord have mercy!  The rest of it is just hurry up, and wait!

Right now, I'm very tired, and feeling a little sick to the stomach. So, hopefully this too will subside.  I cannot wait until this silly back of mine is all better.   Got bored in the ER so I started snapping away.  They said tomorrow just to follow up with my doctor and go home and rest.  Here's some more pics of my boredom and hurry up and wait!  Goodnight!

DON'T FORGET ABOUT TOMORROW!  MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME!  WOO HOO!  RIGHT HERE!  WHAT DID YOU PICK?????

PUR HAS TOTALLY CLEANED UP MY ACT!

A while back we all remember my coffee dilemma, but now I drink really clean coffee!   Mmmmm Can't you just smell the aroma!  Well, I not only have the pitcher now that PUR has, but I also have their pur Water Filtration System.  The mineralclear.  Filters water over natural minerals for a crisp, refreshing taste. *Certified to reduce lead, chlorine (taste and odor), microbial cysts and much more!

Now first let me tell you I'm not all that handy putting things together, and figuring things out.  Oh, I eventually can do it don't get me wrong, but this little wonderful gadget is 1-click installation!  (Isn't that cool?)  Even I can do it.  Well, my first was was a horizontal filtration system, and my kitchen is what they call a walk in kitchen, so it's rather small, and the only dishwasher I have is at the end of my arms.  ~hehe~  My sink is rather small too!  So there wasn't really much room to rinse dishes when I was washing them.  As you can see if I had a pot the horizontal faucet mount makes it a little difficult to rinse it for me.  So, I contacted PUR, and asked them if they had something different.  Well, do you love these people or what.

They now have a vertical faucet mount!  Hmmm Do you think they made one just for me?  ~hehe~ Nah!  But I'd like to think so!  One thing I do know is that their motto is, "We believe everyone deserves clean drinking water".  Clean drinking water is definitely the foundation to good health, and as far as I'm concerned I know that  PUR has opened my eyes to the water situation not only in my own town, but throughout the world. To date, PUR has donated over 397,000 liters of water to CSDW through the Daily Drop Program. Make it part of your daily routine! It's easy, it's free! Please click here to donate: http://www.facebook.com/PUR?v=app_219565454587&ref=ts

"Also, did you know that with your purchase of this PUR Water Filtration System you will be donating a week's worth of clean drinking water to children in the developing world through the Children's Safe Drinking Water program".  Visit www.csdw.org to find out more.

*Disclaimer: Product was provided by PUR or their participating PR in exchange for my honest review. Opinion is 100% my own and no monetary compensation was given.
I love my new faucet mount, and it's so easy to install.  Just one easy click!  THANKS PUR!

Alicia at More than Words started "Friday Photo Flashback" because she has so many pics from her PRE-digital camera days.  Therefore, she came up with "Friday Photo Flashback".  I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join us, too! Don't forget to sign in to her MckLinky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!   IT'S GREAT FUN!    Please come join us.   Just sign up at Alicia's linky at Friday Photo Flashback (link above).  You'll love walking down memory lane - just as I do!
This picture was probably taken in 1955 at my father's mom's house.  My Gramma was a sweetie born in Dusseldorf, Germany.  She was a great gramma that always played with me.  Coloring, baking, talking and walking.  Unfortunately I lost her two years after this picture was taken, but being as this is October 1st the month for Halloween I thought I'd show you a pic of myself, and my brother all dressed in our costumes.  I was five (what a ham - lol), and my brother was 11.

My question is:   Do  you play an instrument?

I play the accordion, and the keys.  My mon's side of the family is Sicilian, and I think everyone of my cousins learned how to play the accordion, and naturally all the songs we learned were Italian.  lol   Haven't played them in a while, but I really should.

Have a Great Weekend Everyone, and THANKS for stopping by, and following me.  Also, please take a look at my GIVE-AWAYS before you leave.  I'm sure I'll take a look at yours to see if there's something I might like and visa-versa!  ~hehe~   Oh!  Don't forget about this Monday - "MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME"  Check the theme for this week.  It's Freebie week which means MOVE ME BABY!  Yes, you get to pick whatever you like.  I truly hope you ALL can make it.  Boogie Time!
