Graduation Party!

The Graduate

Today my first granddaughter's Graduation Party is on!  Relative are going to crawl the woodwork.  Isn't she a cutie pie!  Let's go back a bit. 

Here she comes!

Graduation Day, I bet she thought it would never come. ~heehee~She's a good student.  Some A's... a couple B's... but all in all a very good student, and a good girl. 

She's got it!  WOO HOO!!!

Well, time to get this party started, and I'll be back again soon to show you the festivities!  Thanks for joining me, and one of my happy and proud moments.  It's a long story, but I helped raise this little girl, and being there since she took her first breath, and through happy times and sad times, and yes even a few troubled times, she knows she can always count on her NaNee. I'm so proud of her!

Recipe for Chicken Salad Wraps!

Found this on Facebook and thought I'd share with your guy!  :)  Sounds yummy doesn't it?

AWARD WINNING SALAD WRAPS - 

Chicken Apple Wraps

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
3 tablespoons chopped Fuji apple
2 tablespoons chopped black or red grapes
2 tablespoons Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 tablespoon lite mayonnaise (or greek yogurt)
2 teaspoons honey
Iceberg lettuce

Preparation
Chop chicken meat and fruit, mix in bowl. Mix in peanut butter, mayonnaise and honey.

Spoon into open lettuce leaf, roll and serve

In our home the word "fart" just isn't cool! So, we call them pufta (poof-ta). My husband says I make up words! So, one day my husband was coming home from work when he saw the license plate on this car, and he couldn't stop laughing all the way home! This is what he saw...

I'm telling you I so, so, SO want to go back!  We had so much fun.  I've been checking their webcams almost every day just to see what's going on.  Check this one out!!

Guess they're catching a lot of rain too, but here's the parking lot to show you the park really isn't hurting.,

Anyway, Dave and I stayed at the cottage the first day watching the seagulls, red winged black birds  & then again there was Mr & Mrs. Bumble too.  Yes, we had bumble bees that came right up to our door, and said, "Welcome"!

FERRIS WHEEL there is gigantic for sure, and in the background you can see the newest rollercoaster at Cedar Point, "The Gate Keeper", which is a totally awesome ride.  Want to see it run?  Click on the ride I have it linked.  It will blow your mind.

OLD FRIENDS MEET AGAIN!

This young lady here I've known for about 40 yrs., and we lost touch about 25 yrs. ago.  One day I was at a wake, my cousin's husband had past away, and at the funeral home a gentleman come up to me, and said, "Aunt Dolly? It's P.J.!", and I knew him immediately.  I hadn't seem him since he was about 10 yrs. old. and here he was a grown man now.  We talked, and I asked how his mother was doing, and well as you see this was our reunion!  After all the blubbering was over we talked for hours and hours, and we're both so happy we have found each other again as you can see.

Everything happens for a reason!

My friend Debbie recently had back surgery, and is doing wonderful in such a short time, and needless to say my back surgery was in 2006, and I just keep getting worse.  I'm going to start seeing her doctor hopefully next month, and I hope he can do for me the miracle he performed on my dearest friend.  I'll keep you posted.  Hope you all enjoyed my little story.
