AdoramaPix Photobook Review and Give-Away

"CLOSED"
Hello! I'm known as Mom, NaNee, Dolly and Marie depending who it is.  I happen to love old memories & sometimes it's hard to let go.  So, why should I?  I was raised with the old Italian "Family pride" instilled into our family handed down over the years. AdoramaPix has a way to preserve those wonderful memories so I can pass them down to my children and grandchildren.

Looking at old pictures is so much fun.  I have photo albums that were passed down to me, and there's my own too.  These pictures are taken in and out especially when someone asks to see it or borrow for one reason or another.  Taking them in & out of the album they can get torn, bent, just plain ruined, and lost forever.  AdoramaPix has come up with a fabulous way to preserve those precious moments by putting them into a Photo Book that you can show off for years to come, and you get to create it!

I found out about AdoramaPix last Christmas. What an awesome unique gift!  Just flipping these hard covered pages even if sticky fingers would point to baby's face all I had to do was take a damp rag to wipe it off would make it new again.  Total relief came over me when I didn't wreck the picture. This photo book will be a keepsake I can pass down to my children, and them to theirs.

AdoramaPix.com is the place that you can check out this phenomenon, and start your own family keepsake.  Vacations, honeymoon or each child growing up.  There's just so many possibilities.  They have many other products there too besides high quality photo books like calendars, greeting cards, gallery wraps, and they do custom framing too.  Here's an example:

AdoramaPix Quality

The calendars are printed on Fujifilm Crystal Archive Album, a professional quality photo paper (the same paper they use in photobooks). Your images are checked for color and density by a trained technician, and because they're printed on photo paper, will last long after the year is gone!  Personally, I'd like to do that one next.

I was contacted by AdoramaPix, and asked to write a review, and to do my own Photo Book! How exciting I thought, but I've never done this before. I've never even worked with any sort of photo shop or anything similar. So, I had to get a little help from my daughter, and through trial and error I finally put something together, got the hang of it somewhat. I had a great time picking out pictures, and uploading them from my computer, and figuring out where to put them, and how. It was all up to me.

Now, granted it took me a while because I'm so dam picky, but at AdoramaPix they store your pickings for however long it takes you. Also, they have a great customer service department to help you if you have questions, and need a little help, but if you have worked with photo shop before, and know what you're doing this should be a breeze for you.

Now I can go on & on, but I'd rather get to the good part.  These photobooks make great presents for Mom or that special person, and/or relatives.  Have your memories come alive with AdoramaPix over 30 Themed templates to choose from.  I put this book together, and for my first try I must say it's not bad, right?

The ideas of what type of book you want to make is endless.  Baby books, grades school to high school, it could go on forever. The quality is fabulous to the extent it almost looks 3D.
They use Fuji Archive paper, and outstanding color that is not going to fade as the book ages.  .

When I bring out my books there has to be that one someone with sticky hands, so later all I have to do is get a damp rag, and wipe it clean!  Poof!  The shine and gloss of the pages was back.  No more sticky fingerprints.  I'm in awe.  So, now to the good part!

AdoramaPix has generously offered one of my reader's a photobook of the winner's choice up to a $130 value. AdoramaPix will contact you and give you full details on how to pick your prize. The winner would have to pay for the shipping for their book.

Mini-Digital Photo-Frame Keychain Review/Give-Away!

"CLOSED"

Sponsored by Tomoson.com   So, with all my nine grandchildren and four children who do I pick to go into this tiny frame, and will it be enough?  Remember how you use to have your wallet jammed with pictures?  Well, not anymore it's the sign of the times, my friends.  Our planet has gone digital!  All my pics are either on my computer or on flashdrives, and I still have tons of pictures in albums in my cedar chest that my mom left me, and mine I haven't done yet. As far as a camera with film that's in my cedar chest with my albums.

Well, I'm not going to speak for all the mothers, and grandmothers out there, but I personally like to show off ALL my babies, and my hubby too.  He's a musician, and we always have new pictures of him.  Personally, I'm going to use my keychain as a reminder.  Who's ever birthday is up next that's who I'm going to put up front.  This mini photo keychain is going to be my best friend, and my memory!  Woo Hoo!  I'm so glad I thought of that, and you can use for that too if you like.
So, what is this keychain all about you ask?
Stats:
  • 1.5 inch 128×128 LCD display;
  • 4.8 MB internal memory which can store about 72 pictures;
  • Auto / manual picture slide show, slide time adjustable.

  • Time display including date, week, hours, minutes and seconds.
  • Time manual adjustable or sync with computer via software.

  • Built-in rechargeable battery
  • Charged / data downloaded via 5 pins USB cable
  • Dimension: 5.5×4.1×1.2cm
  • Weight: 85g
Is that not too cool or what?  72 PICTURES!  I mean "DAM"!  I could get the whole family in there if I wanted too, and then some.  There are many items besides the Digital Photo Keychains at WholesaleKeychain.com.  You can go check it out because they really make cool little gifts for that person who has everything or don't blink people because you know what is just around the corner, and these cuties would make good stocking stuffers too!  You could probably tape them to another gift as an added bonus!  The Digital Photo Keychain is a cool affordable gift especially if you have so many people to buy for like me. Let me add here that when you go to set-up your keychain read the directions.  That's what they're there for.  Don't frustrate yourself like I did.  Setting the time was easy for me, but downloading the pics was a step-by-step procedure, but I finally got it!  WOO HOO!

      Wanchai Ferry® Incredible! MyBlogSpark dinner!

      I was invited to go to a dinner in Chicago Downtown at the BenPao Restaurant.  My husband never made it home on time, and either did my daughter's (NightOwlMama), so we ventured off together.  Not knowing what to expect really we dressed casual, and headed for downtown, and parking wasn't too much of a problem either.  We were greeted by three lovely ladies that were from My Blog Spark one of, which was Cristin Johnson I believe.  There was a room full of people (other bloggers), and the waiter came, and we ordered a beverage.

      We started off with an appetizer.  Few things I never tried before, but we was game, and it was definitely tasty!

      In between, my daughter and I had spent some long over due quality time together just chit-chatting about what else?  Our blogs between the two us.  Both of us expected possibly a hall with banquet tables, and speeches.  We were totally wrong,  It was just a quite little dinner, and a wonderful time with a very nice waiter I might add.  Then we had our main course; Beef and Broccoli and Orange Chicken that was incredible!

      We both love Chinese food, so we were quite satisfied, and having a great time with this delicious meal.

      Now, after we finished our meal.  We were chatting with another couple for a while, and then we noticed our dessert had come, but we were both so full we just kind of stared at it for a while when a hostess came around with fortune cookies.  Soon thereafter another hostess came to our table with a camera crew, and asked us to open our cookies.  Tricia did as I looked on, and Tricia had a very surprised look on her face.  What happened was the fortune in the cookie said we just ate...  Wanchai Ferry frozen dinner Beef & Broccoli and the Orange Chicken also.

      We were both just flabbergasted.  As I stated to our hostess my daughter is the pickiest eater in town (and so is her daughter by the way), and she loved it you know it's good!  In fact, as you can see I went out, and got some for my family, and gave it to my husband and granddaughter just the other day, and well here's what my granddaughter had to say... or not say about it! mmmmm...

      So, all I had to do was run down to my local grocery store (Jewel), and pick some up, just follow the easy directions, pop the rice in the microwave, and sit down for a fancy Chinese food dinner (rice included), and the taste is incredible.  Totally moist, and full of flavor.  Just the way the hubby likes it and me too!  Will I get this again for my family?  You can bet your sweet...  well, of course I will!  lol  Run down to your local grocery store and get some tonight.  You can make a simple meal into a gourmet delight, and you can go to http://www.wanchaiferry.com for some meal tips, and more information about other delightful dinners by Wanchai Ferry!

      Disclosure: In exchange for my honest opinion I was provided with the dinner, gift card, product and information through MyBlogSpark with regards to Wanchai Ferry products. Opinion is 100% my own.
