I'm so in love with my Hamilton Beach Blender!

I got a Hamilton Beach Blender for Mother's Day, and I have finally found the time to take it out of the box, and give it a go.  My daughter Tricia, and I went shopping, and bought it together at Walmart, and it was on sale!  WOO HOO!  Some how I appreciate things more when they're on sale. ~snicker~

One of the features I love on this blender is it's all plastic.  No more breaking/chipping the glass and have to get rid of it.  That's what happen to the last two I had, which is one of the main reasons I wanted one..  Also, it has a spout.  Love it.  Love it.  Love it, and if you don't want to use it you can cap it off, and just pour from the pitcher.

I'm into healthy eating, and dieting.  Plus, it's summer and a slushy is going to taste mighty good in the morning.  So far I've tried Strawberry, banana, mango, and oranges, and bananas.  and oranges, mango, bananas, and strawberries.  One piece of advice here.  Peel your mango!  Ewwww  I use one cup of skim milk, and I have these little coctail trays of ice cubes, and I use two of those.  Oh yeah!

It comes with a little "how to" booklet with troubleshooting that the warranty is in.

Advanced Wave~Action® system ensures smooth results.

So, who's having a party?  I've got the fun because I've got the blender! The Hamilton Beach® Dispensing Blender that is.  Gas this!  I has a Wave~Action® system that these powerful blenders pulls your ingredients down to the blades then creating silky, tasty smoothies, creamy shakes without chunks of ice or fruit or that oh so perfectly blended Margarita you've been waiting for all week.  The results are oh so smooth, and in fact, they can be dispensed right into a cup.  Then when the party's over, (okay, all together now --- awwwwwwwwwww),  the removable dispensers are easy to clean, making my blender so perfect for use any time.
See:
You can enjoy easy-to-serve drinks that are always smooth and so delicious with me.  Oh what the hell!  Come on over, and I'll make a big batch!  ~hehehe~   GOT SLUSHY?

REMEMBER WHEN?

What seems centuries ago I can remember begging my father to teach me how to drive.  Some of his many excuses were I'm too tired or we can't afford it, you're not driving my car, learn the book, or my favorite,  "Insurance cost too much"!

Today's insurance doesn't cost any where near what it use too!  The rules for obtaining insurance have also changed, but so has the law.  Now, it is the "LAW" you MUST have car insurance or be ticketed, and fined.  If you drive a car on public roads, you have to be insured. If you're not you're at risk of a fine and even losing your car. The law says that drivers must have insurance against third party injury or property damage claims. This means if you were to cause personal injury to someone else or damage their property, you would have insurance to cover their claim. The law also says that the insurer must provide a car insurance certificate as evidence that you even have insurance.

Today we have the Internet, and Google to look up all of our questions.  We could sit there all day, and try to figure which site to go too.  Well, that nonsense is over! There's a website called AutomobileInsurance.me.  It gives you the auto insurance basics, and explains everything from A to Z.  Most importantly it gives you  quotes.  No waiting!  AutomobileInsurance.me explains student driver questions, compares Auto Insurance companies to fit your situation, and needs.  So come on, you know you want too!  At least get a quote to see if  you can save a little cash.  Just click AutomobileInsurance.me and get a quote, browse around, answer a few questions that's been bugging you for centuries.

Good luck, and the only advice I can give is the same my Dad gave to me, "You got to have eyes in your butt, when you get behind the wheel of a car, but you have to have financial coverage if you want to stay out  from behind bars!"

FRIDAY PHOTO FLASHBACK!

A friend of mine started "Friday Photo Flashback" because of having so many pictures from her PRE-digital camera days. She thought it would be fun to scan them and share them here with you. I'm having so much fun doing this, that I would love for you to join me, too! So dig out the photo albums and put your scanner to good use! Don't forget to sign in to MckLinky so we can all visit and comment on each others blogs!  I personally think it's a great idea, and sounds like fun!  I totally love old pictures.  Hey I use to have a camera like that.

Remember this lady?  This is my wonderful Aunt Mitzi!  The woman is a Saint!  I love her dearly.  Right now though she's in Maryland in a therapy hospital due to a fall, and she fractured her hip.  Your prayers for her would be appreciated.  As she told me she's not ready to throw in the towel!  Gotta love that woman, and I really do!  She's like a second Mom to me.

But back to our Photo Flashback, above you see is her Wedding Photo when she married my Uncle Jimmy, my mother's brother.  The lady sitting down on the right is my Mom, and to her left is my dad.  I believe this was 1947 or 1948.  Below that picture is my Mother's whole family.  Starting from the left back roll is Grandpa Tom, Uncle Jim, and my Uncle Frank.  The Right to left is my Grandma Nelly, Aunt Nina, Aunt Tillie, and my Mom (Carmelina), and the child is my Aunt Joann.   Have a wonderful weekend!

ALOHA FRIDAY!

"In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So here on Fridays we're taking it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’m asking a simple question for you to answer & nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at the very friendly place of Islandlife808.com. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends and find new followers!

My question is:   Where did you go on your honeymoon?

My husband is a big roller coaster fan, so we went to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure (the 1st yr. it opened-1999).  It was fantastic.  We stayed at the Embassy Suites, which is a wonderful place to stay.  We were on the 8th or 9th floor, so the scenery out our window was so cool.  We also went on a helicopter ride that took us past the Universal Studios, and Disneyland.  It was a little scary, but I got over it.  It was the best time ever, and ya know I don't think you ever have quite as much fun as you do that very first time because we've gone back, and the first time was the BEST!

I NEED A LAP-TOP BAD - PART II

Well, I have found a Savings on different laptops all in one spot, and maybe just maybe I can introduce my husband to this site so he can see for himself all the money we can save, and still get the product I (we) want.  This Savings.com is amazing.  They have every product that came to my head.  For example, at their HP coupons, there are so many different savings from $10 off/free shipping, to the more money you spend the more money you save.  There's savings for every product if you look for it, give it some time.  Don't get frustrated, and keep trying.  The site is huge.  I could look around here all day long, and it's not that complicated at all.
I've been checking the different sites all day for deals on savings such as Dell Coupons or HP coupons etc., and once I print out ads or actually look for them in the paper I can lay them around.

So, how am I doin'?  Anybody have any other ideas for me?   Okay, now our TV broke down & had to call a TV repair man.  This so does not look good.  I sure hope I find some good coupons/sales.  I sure could use some help on this, but they definitely have to be "MONEY SAVINGS CLUES"!
