Weight Be Gone!

Hi Everyone!  This is my Weight Be Gone Thursday for me.  If you'd like to follow me in my journey you are welcome.  If you'd like to share your own journey feel free to sign my linky below, and I'll come visit you.  The reason I've started my journey is I had a rude awakening to the reality of life in that I'm not getting any younger, and if I still wanted to lead a fun, and  happy life I had to make some serious changes.

Last week I was 250 lbs. & as of this morning 251 lbs. don't ask me how, but I am.  Want to apologize to you all this will be short post today because I'm very behind on everything.  My Stenosis is climbing to its peak again and my shots aren't until May 11th.  Yesterday was a very bad day.  Today was a bit better and I hope today is good too.

I've been eating Special K for breakfast most of the time, and campbell's soup for lunch, and salads or fish for supper.  One day a week I've been eating meat.  Today was a meat day. I had a small baby spinach salad with mushrooms & cherry tomatoes Lite Ranch dressing and a 95% lean burger on a lite muffin with lettuce and ketchup.  A bottle of water to drink.  Then after I made coffee, Dave's lunch and did the dishes I had some sugar free jello cup.

Thank you for stopping by, and giving me your support that's much needed.  If you check my Pinterest I've been collecting diet tips and recipes if you're interested.  Below you'll find my linky if you'd like to share you're own diet journey and we can travel together.  Have a great day and may your pounds shed away and never find you again.

Thanking you for stopping by, and listening. I do have a button to the left if you'd like it so you can come back next Thursday. If you'd like to join me in my journey - make a spreadsheet like me and sign my linky & we'll follow this yellow brick road to the wizard and ask him for a new body!

You're kicking arse! These things take time. Remember to eat small amounts often to keep your metabolism high on calorie burning.
Drink Loads of water and get at least 8 hours sleep.

I second Daft Scots comments. Also lean meats are actually loaded with protein and fairly low on calories for the energy. Remember that is LEAN not a chicken fried steak or a 3 pound filet smothered in bacon. Finally consider adding a few nut meats like almonds or cashews to your salads for more energy and to fill you up. Jello cup is awesome and also 'Ice pops' are a low cal treat. Hang in there - you are doing great! W.C.C.

I wish you the very best of luck in this journey. Just keep on keepin' on, and it doesn't matter if results are immediate or not. It stays off faster if you go slower!

I mean longer, not faster. LOL

Before you know it your dedication will show you the results you want but you must give it a little time, and patience.

Water weight will fluctuate by a few pounds, so don't worry about those, just keep doing what you are! Your body has to adjust to all the food changes you are making.

I am so proud of how well you are doing!! You are going to reach your goal and your back and legs are definitly going to see a difference (if my prayers are answered!!
I have lost a total of 6 pounds over the last 2 weeks and have been doing it through portion control and cutting back (not out) on my sugar (my glucose was slightly) elevated on my last blood test) intake. I still allow myself carbs and sweets, but only a little bit. For my sweets, I have been buying those Jell-O Indulgence puddings... SO good and I also eat the sugar free popsicles during this heat - but I have to share those with Wiggles, she loves the. HaHa
Lets keep it up, girlfriend. =)

You know we all love you and are backing you up on this journey; not just your weight loss journey, but also your journey to be healthier and happier!

Be careful with all the sugar free things-Make sure you check for artificial sweetners and sugars because
those can hamper your weight loss, too!

A lot of people wonder why they aren't losing any weight when they've switched to sugar free and 'diet' things and that's why.

Keep up that good work my CM! You know I loves ya :)
