Aloha Follow Friday the Over 40 Set is here Flashing back!

Alicia at More than Words started "Friday Photo Flashback" . I'm having a blast & you can too! Dig out your photo album! Don't forget to sign up so we can all visit and comment on each others pics/blogs! IT'S GREAT FUN! You'll love walking down memory lane - just as I do! The above picture is none other then my first born.  1969.  She's wearing Grandpa's truck driver hat.  Yes, my darling daughter who you all know as "NightOwlMaMa", my precious little girl.  Grandpa's pride and joy!

Are you a blogger over 40? Yeah, welcome to the club!
Please join in the fun over at Java's place, and get to know your fellow bloggers at Never Growing Old!!

"In Hawaii, Aloha Friday a day of rest. So we're doin' the same. On Fridays we're taking it easy on posting. Therefore, our hostess is asking a simple question for you to answer; nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at the very friendly place of Islandlife808.com. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends and find new followers!

My question is:  Are you done wrapping all the presents, and do you get any help?

I haven't even started yet.  My husband helps sometimes.  We usually do it in the frontroom, and unless he gets interested in the movie or falls asleep on the couch he will help.

Wasn't that fun?  ~hehe~  Have a Great Weekend Everyone, and THANKS for stopping by, and following me.   Oh!  Don't forget about this Monday - "MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME".  This week's theme, and the whole month of December is Christmas music.  I truly hope you ALL can make it. It's tons of fun!  Bring a friend!  Have a great weekend!  HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I haven't even started shopping yet. When I wrap, my son helps.

I am lol at both parts of that question. No, I have several gifts hidden through out the house!

Now, I am really laughing at this one. I don't think my hubby has ever wrapped a kids gift.

Oh, no. Each of the kids gets his own shopping trip to purchase for the rest of the family and we wrap as we complete the shopping. Since we have six kids plus hubby and I have a shopping trip plus hubby takes the kids to buy for Mom, it's an all December process. Two down, six trips to go.

I haven't started with wrapping the presents and I think I have to do it all by myself :)

I just started wrapping last night. My kids help out a little bit. It's such a chore, I really don't enjoy wrapping gifts.

We really scaled back for Chanukah this year to emphasize the real meaning of the holiday (you really are not supposed to give presents). Since the holiday is over, present that got wrapped are already open.

Awwww! Look at how CUTE NightOwlMama is as a baby! :)

I haven't even started wrapping yet - I need to get the tree up so I can get started and have a place to put them! Hopefully I'll remember all my hiding places to find 'em all to wrap... ;)

That's hilarious how your hubby 'helps'...I don't have my hubby help, because he thinks the best tape to use is packing tape. Makes it hard for PN to open gifts! So I do it all myself - much more relaxing that way! ;) He does wrap presents for me, though - and uses packing tape. :)

Aloha: Shopping

Hi There, thanks for dropping by my blog. I loved your story on how you named your blog. Just beautiful. Oh and I'm following you back :)

I have all my wrapping done but for the most part, I don't have that much to do anyway so I didn't need to hire help. If I was going to hire help, it would be to help clean the house so I could spend more time bloging :)

Have a wonderful Friday!

Happy Aloha Friday!

I would really like to start wrapping, but most of those I am wrapping are for the kids, and they are always around.

Wrapping is one of the few things I haven't done yet. I've been putting it off until closer to the date.

We are at the point in life where no one can make it home or together on the same day or even the same weekend, and have family in hospitals, care facilities, etc. So no wrapping scheduled for us this year.
I did get a present last night - a garage in a box. (Huge 10 x 20 tent) There was no need for him to wrap it for me.
It just would have been nice to get it before the foot of snow we also received overnight.
