Okay, check this out!  This is June 13, 1968.  I just turned 18.  The girl feeding her face that's me!  Check out that high hairdo!  Believe it or not that's a wiglet I've got on top of my head in curls.  My pretty Mommy sitting next to me, and my handsome brother, Russ Jr. who was 24 yrs. old there.  Hmm He must have just got out of the Navy.

Are you a blogger over 40? Yeah, welcome to the club!
Please join in the fun and get to know your fellow bloggers at Never Growing Old!!

"In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy, and look forward to the weekend. So we're doin' the same.  On Fridays we're taking it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’m asking a simple question for you to answer & nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at the very friendly place of Islandlife808.com. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends and find new followers!

My question is:  Do you make a Christmas list, do you ask for Christmas lists, and when do you start shopping?

I have to many to buy for so I shop all year long so when I see a bargain I jump on it.  Yes, I do asks for Christmas lists, and if they're to late getting them to me Mrs. Santa gets what I think they'll like, and if it's not what they wanted well they should've gotten their list in to Mrs. Santa sooner!  Yes, I make my own list too!

Wasn't that fun?  ~hehe~  Have a Great Weekend Everyone, and THANKS for stopping by, and following me.   Oh!  Don't forget about this Monday - "MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME".  This week's theme is a song that starts with "T" for Thanksgiving.  I truly hope you ALL can make it. It's tons of fun!  Have a great weekend!

My sister and I exchange lists for what our kids want for Christmas. And I tell my husband what to get me!

I only make a list if someone tells me something they really want. Other than that I wing it.

Thanks for coming by my blog. I already follow you. (I have several blogs and I think you have been by every one of them...thanks!)

ANyway, I only make a list of names (we have loads of people in te family) but rarely have I ever put down a particular gift for any one person.

I love the pic of you and the hair! *smiles*
Is it bad of me to tell you that I was only 6 months old when you had that photo taken? lol

Have a great weekend.

Peace...Naila Moon

I LOVE the picture!! My mom used to wear her hair like that, too! ;)

Definitely lists - both from others and from me...makes life easier! I'm a year 'round shopper, too - but sometimes I'll end up over-buying because I'll forget what I have stashed! ;)

I do make christmas list for my children every year just because the family askes what they would want so I just give them the list. When I am shoping for my family I do ask everyone for their kids lists. It depends on when I start shoping. If I know one of my family would like something I will buy it and save it. I have baught gifts before in July so it just depends.

You were a knockout Dolly!

Very nice photo memory.

And I don't have a Christmas list. I don't do holiday shopping either. I just buy deals when I see them.

Have a great weekend!

I do a Christmas list if I know what I want. I ask around for their Christmas list - especially those who are so hard to shop for - like my husband!

I'm very haphazard. I make several lists and add to them and delete them and shop here and there sometime after the beginning November usually.

LOVE the hairdo!! You look like you were one hot chick (still are, I might add)!!
And that brother of yours... kind-of handsome, is he single? Keeping my options open, you know Bill is 68 years old. TeeHee
As for Christmas, I'm like you, when I see something all year long, I get it for them, or I win it on blog giveaways - HaHa!
I usually don't have to tell Bill what I want, because he knows me so well and has fantastic taste! He is a wonderful gift giver, but once in a while, I will send him hints. As for his daughters kids, I just send them a Christmas ornament every year and cash.

Great pics!

I don't start shopping for Christmas until around Thanksgiving. I have 4 young adult kids, pkus 7 grand kids, but we don't buy them alot os stuff. We are buying an annual pass to a local park/natural attraction that is 10 minutes from my daughter's house. It will give their family with 6 children lots a fun family memories! We do ask our kids what they want, but they are fairly practical and want items to help them in their jobs/hobbies/passions.

OMG I love your hair! It looks like it's an entity in and of itself xD Hehe!

I have been known to make Christmas lists, but I haven't in the past few years. I don't really ask for Christmas lists from other people, but I do MAKE a list for who I'm buying for and what ideas on what I want to get them :)

As for when I start shopping...It all depends on what's on sale, if I find something I can't pass up, if I have any money, etc.
