Hey Dolly I'm a crocheter too! And your blanket is just beautiful. Great job! Okay let me go check out that other site and let her know you sent me there...smiles.
I taught myslef to crochet and knit years ago but no longer do practice, seeing your lovely makes blanket makes me feel that it is such a shame that I have let this go.
Yah MOM I love that. I too Learned from Your Mom and you'll have to show me the other techniques I'll be needing that skill one day I love you. Pssst the kids can use some new scarf's for Christmas ;P
Pretty! nice to see a completed one! Ha! I had a large paper bag full of squares that I was working on (over 36+years ago) and the bag was looking shabby... but someone threw it away! I never felt like trying again... sigh.. but yours is lovely! I learned at that time from, my F.I. L. he was a big knitter too.
My grandma taught me to crochet a chain when I was very young. Then much later, about 15 years ago, I taught myself the rest of the steps from a book I found. I have several unfinished afghans that I keep hoping to get back to some day. Could happen.

I want to learn so bad. I bought myself a self-teaching kit to teach myself at home. We'll see how I do when I have the time.
This is lovely. I love the colors together.

That is so beautiful! I wish I could still do crafts like that. They really aggravate my carpal tunnel. Of course, blogging does that too! LOL
Lovely! Wish I could crochet like that. I can knit a mean scarf though! LOL
